Developing peer to peer support for patients suffering from chronic pain

This case study describes how the team in Calderdale & Huddersfield working on the Health Foundation's Co-creating Health programme developed a peer-to-peer support scheme for patients suffering from chronic pain, and their learning from the process.

This included working with external facilitators over two days to identify the underpinning principles of the scheme and define two separate roles: 'befrienders' and 'navigators'.
