This webpage contains four case studies highlighting some of the ways in which charities are facilitating peer support, and the benefits for people living with long term health needs.

The case studies explore the experience of the Hayaan Somali Mental Health Project (based at Mind in Harrow, West London),  Positively UK and Homerton University Hospital's 'Peer Navigators' Project for people living with HIV, bap’s Heart to Heart Project, and Children's HIV Association Freedom to be support camp which supports HIV positive young people to connect with their peers.
