Telemedicine's missing link: connected care

In this blog Dr Carlin argues that telemedicine is failing to reach its potential because it is not linked to clinical practice.  He sets out how good connected care is built around a closed feedback loop - you collect patient data on a frequent nonintrusive basis, convert that data into an interpretation of the situation and tie that interpretation to a clinical action.
